Been practicing yoga for a while? Not sure where you fit in? We encourage everyone to take a 12-week session of
NEWBIE YOGI YOU-BE to learn about or improve his/her yoga technique for a more efficient, easeful, and energizing practice. There’s no point in practicing incorrectly – we’re only reinforcing bad habits.

1. I confess I’ve been too much of a couch potato. I’m recovering from an illness or injury; I’m dealing with a weight issue; I have ongoing back/shoulder/knee ... problems. Therefore, I should start with
SITTING FULL, our Seated Yoga class.

2. My balance is good, I have strong legs, I’m fit and I’m ready for some physical challenges. I’ve never taken yoga before or I’ve only had a few classes. I may have studied somewhere else but I never really developed a solid foundation or proper technique. In other classes I’ve taken I never learned three-part breathing or how to forward bend properly (from the hips!) or how to move from spinal flexion into spinal extension or vice versa. I have no significant limitations so I’m good to go with
NEWBIE YOGI YOU-BE.

3.
YOGALICIOUS is for those who have completed NEWBIE YOGI YOU-BE. I have a solid foundation, but I don't have the stamina, strength or flexibility to keep up in CHAKRA CHARGE I. A lot of those poses I've never done before, so a session of YOGALICIOUS will give me the tools I need for CHAKRA CHARGE I.

4. I am ready to take
CHAKRA CHARGE I because I know the Beginning and Intermediate postures and can do them correctly. I'm well familiar with Dirgha Breath, Kapalabhati and Ujjai pranayama and I know how to integrate breath. I can do full Sun Salutations moving from plank [Chaturanga Dandasana] into Upward Facing Dog [Urdhva Mukha Shvanasana]. I can stay in shoulder-stand for two to three minutes. I’m a warrior at holding Warrior and other poses, and I’m ready to work on arm balances.
